**We’re Hiring: Assistant Manager - Gloria Jean’s Maitland Central**

**Casual (with view to Full-Time) | Maitland Central | Fast-Paced Café Environment**

Are you passionate about coffee, customer service, and leading a team? We’re looking for an energetic and motivated **Assistant Manager** to join our **Gloria Jean’s store at Maitland Central** on a **casual basis initially**, with the opportunity to move into a **full-time position**.

In this hands-on leadership role, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to supervise, train, and support our café team, ensuring every customer receives exceptional service and the store runs smoothly.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Support the Store Manager in daily operations and staff management
- Lead and supervise a team of Retail Sales Assistants and Shift Supervisors
- Ensure all team members deliver outstanding customer service
- Train and coach team members using company resources
- Maintain store cleanliness and food safety standards
- Assist with stock ordering and preparing staff rosters
- Handle customer feedback with professionalism
- Drive and support marketing promotions and suggestive selling

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Previous experience in retail or the food industry (coffee knowledge is a bonus)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A positive, hands-on approach to team support
- Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high standards
- Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
