**Make an impact**

As a **Food Production Team Leader**, you will play a vital role in enhancing the vocational opportunities of our employees while ensuring commercial outcomes are achieved. At our site in **Kew**, we focus on **food packaging and creating/assembling kits for well-known retailers**

With your natural ability to lead with empathy, you will oversee and guide employees that we support, to meet their employment goals, ensuring their work aligns with their skills, aspirations, and NDIS plans while delivering exceptional production outcomes.

**Other daily tasks are to**:

- Motivate and mentor a diverse workforce, fostering a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with WHS policies and procedures.
- Supervise and guide employees that we support to meet Ndis goals and commercial outcomes.
- Promote positive behaviour support and a collaborative team culture.
- Conduct skills training, assessments, and performance reviews in collaboration with Employment Coaches.
- Ensure production meets customer expectations regarding quality, delivery timeframes and business requirements.
- Monitor operations to ensure they meet production standards, making adjustments to process as needed.

**What you can bring to the team**
- Previous experience in a production environment with a proven ability to coordinate projects and delegate activities to a diverse team advantageous.
- Training in **HACCP, Organic, Kosher, SQF, and Halal compliance** highly regarded.
- A genuine commitment to the purpose and values of the organisation with a natural empathetic nature.
- Experience in disability support will be highly regarded.
- MR and/or forklift licence desirable.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear and concise information is presented to the team.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work), and an open Drivers License.
