As a freight courier company, they have been managing varied freights with a particular focus on serving the building, construction, farming, and engineering industries for over 20 years.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Planning, directing, setting, and endorsing policies and processes;
- Designing strategy to achieve objectives and goals and improve efficiency for growth;
- Setting objectives and professional standards for the organisation;
- Providing direction and management for the organisation and oversee operations on a daily basis;
- Consulting with heads of various departments on methods of operation, required numbers of manpower, and equipment, finance and sales;
- Evaluating financial performance and improving operations.
- Managing the performance of staff members;
- Preparing regular reports, budgets, and forecasts, and sending them to relevant government establishments;
- Maintaining budgets and optimise expenses;
- Assessing changes and provide directions to staff to respond to such changes accordingly;
- Taking responsibility to carry out certain accounting, sales, marketing, human resources operations;
- Providing solutions to issues such as decline of profits, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors;
- Directing the existing employee assessment process and oversee recruitment and training of new employees;
- Ensuring productive work of employees and their professional development;
- Representing the organisation at official meetings, conferences, seminars, forums and in negotiations;
- Liaising with departments of different work areas;
- Ensuring staff follows health and safety regulations, working on getting accreditation from TS & VTA.

**Requirements**:

- A relevant bachelor’s degree, or higher qualification.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in similar position.
- You must be Australian Citizen/Permanent resident or have proper working rights in Australia.

**Salary**:$90,000 - $100,000 + Super

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
