**Job Description - Store/Warehouse Worker**

**Summary**

This role is based in the warehouse to receive, unpack, arrange and store goods, as well as gather, pack, prepare and load goods for dispatching. This includes loading and unloading outgoing and incoming delivery vehicles. Selecting products from the warehouse, loading and securing goods to pallets, moving inventory to delivery area, and loading merchandise. Unloading stock from delivery vehicles and transporting to and storing in designated warehouse positions. This role is also required to check stock for damage and wear, report faults and discrepancies to relevant parties, and mark and label stock as required.

Responsibility for keeping your work environment clean and tidy at all times, and complying with all relevant safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures. This role may also be required to assist with delivering of stock to local customers

This role requires the ability to follow instructions and operate in an orderly and timely manner. hard-working, focused and with outstanding problem-solving skills are expected.

This role reports to the Warehouse Manager

**Tasks**
- Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness and safety of work environment.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Accepting delivery of inventory.
- Counting and confirming inventory.
- Inspecting inventory for damage and faults.
- Communicating errors and issues relating to stock condition to relevant parties.
- Marking and labelling stock.
- Storing inventory in accessible manner.
- Loading and wrapping stock on pallets.
- Building loads with forklift and electronic pallet jack.
- Other appropriate duties as directed by management

**Qualifications and Role Requirements**
- 18 years of age or older.
- Work experience as general labourer or similar, warehouse experience desirable
- Ability to operate forklift proficiently. License required
- Full driver’s license
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills
- Strong people skills.
- Physically strong, agile and dexterous, and undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions.
- Available to work extended hours.

**Salary**: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
