**Salary range**: $38.69 per hour, inclusive of sessional rates and casual loading + 13% superannuation.

We are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic **Gym and Fitness Instructor** to join the Doone Kennedy Hobart Aquatic Centre, to assist with the delivery of our fitness programs to clients. In this role, you will deliver freestyle group fitness programs and/or gym floor supervision. You will have a positive and energetic attitude, will deliver a high level of customer service, and will play a role in communicating and promoting centre programs and overall fitness facilities.

This role will ensure the health and well-being of the patrons of the facilities in the aquatic centre at all times.

Role accountabilities include:

- Support and grow the delivery of high-quality programs.
- Maintain effective supervision of the DKHAC gymnasium to ensure the safety of all issues.
- Perform pre-activity screening and advise on appropriate exercise interventions.
- Conduct Client Inductions, Personal Training, Rehabilitation sessions and Group Fitness sessions.

Relevant Industry Qualifications are essential for this role. Qualifications required include:

- Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP)
- Current CPR Certificate
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Certificate III in Fitness or equivalent AQF qualification in a relevant area of practice
