Patient Services Assistant

Werribee Mercy Hospital is a public hospital servicing the growing community of the West.
- Our service is growing and we are seeking experienced Patient Services Assistants to join our Environmental Services team.
As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for the upkeep of the patient environment with a strong attention to detailed cleaning duties, distribution of patient food and beverages, transportation of patients and other patient support duties. You will have a strong understanding of the Victorian Public Health Cleaning and Food Safety standards. Summary of the role:

- Permanent Full-Time, Part-Time, Casual positions available.
- Monday to Sunday shifts.
- Variety of shifts Morning, Afternoon and Nightshifts available.
- Located at Werribee Mercy Hospital.

**ABOUT YOU:
- A Certificate 3 Health Services, or equivalent, or working towards completing.
- Current Food Handling Certificate.
- Excellent customer service skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrate ability to show initiative and work within a team environment.
- Highly developed verbal and written skills.
- Ability to understand Patient diet codes and principles for safe delivery of meals.
- A commitment to policies and procedures in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff and members of the public.
