South Melbourne, Australia Greener Corner Full time

Iconic plant nursery located within bustling South Melbourne Market is now looking for a Casual staff, 2 days a week week for now(Wednesday and Saturday)

We specialises in a wide range of indoor plants and planters in various sizes, and also seasonal outdoor plants such as herbs, roses, cyclamen etc.

The role includes but not limited to these simple tasks:

- Helping customers with all enquries and questions related to our products
- Showcasing knowledge and right guidance on different plant type to make sure it suits customer's need
- Maintain all plants on daily basis (water, triming, placing in the right spots)
- Maitain shop front to ensure the best visibility for customers.
- Stock take and update with the owner frequently.
- Open/Close the shop on time (very simple and no heavy lifting).

To be successful for the role, you will have:

- Passion for plants with a knowledge of Botanical plant identification and/or horticulture experience highly desirable but not a must
- High level customer service skills with a proactive approach to solving queries.
- Accountability for tasks with a sense of urgency and a keen eye for detail.
- Positive work ethic with ability to effectively work unsupervised as well as in a team.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $24.31 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
