Rumba Beach Resort located in the heart of Caloundra; QLD is looking for a Hotel Manager to join their team. Our modern resort offers 60 one, two and three-bedroom beautifully appointed, self-contained apartments.
You must be willing to work a 7-day roster including public holidays and school holidays. We are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic, and reliable person who works well in a team, in a fast-paced environment. Delivering our guests an incredible 5-star holiday is paramount.
**Eligibility Criteria**:
- Having relevant Education qualification: AQF associate degree, advance diploma, or diploma
- At least 3 years of experience in the same or closely related position
- You must have full time work rights in Australia
**Daily tasks include**:
- Managing the reception and reservations team, ensuring the occupancy and revenue targets are monthly met
- manage in-house guest complaints to provide exceptional customer service
- Planning, implementing, and controlling the daily routine and all the resort operations,
- Recruiting and training new staff
- Check guests in and out and,
- Helping guests with local tourist information, suggesting tours, and organising transport, and tickets for tourist attractions and concerts, according to the guests' demand.
- Supervision of the housekeeping, maintenance, and reception staff, ensuring the best practices were in place and according to the resort standards.
**Requirements**:
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Operational knowledge with previous experience in team management and leadership
- A general understanding of all areas of a resort or similar type of accommodation
- Reliable and able to meet challenges
- Working and living at the resort is a must
**Salary**: $54,500.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
