We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join the team as a brand ambassador for MCM House, Paddington.

**Roles and Responsibilities**

MCM House 2IC (Assistant Manager) will have a strong interest and skillset in interiors and furniture, with a natural hunger and drive for sales within the furniture and design industry. You will be expanding your managerial skillset learning from the Showroom Manager. You will be the point of contact for escalation in the event of the absence of the Showroom Manager.

It is important to note that the scope of our MCM roles are constantly evolving, therefore each team member must be comfortable with change, however below are some of the main responsibilities we expect from this role currently.
- Assist the Showroom Manager in general sales and showroom duties when instructed.
- Assist the Showroom Manager with staff rosters (two weeks in advance) for the showroomsales staff through MCM’s preferred system (currently Deputy).
- Assist Showroom Manager with the onboarding and training of new showroom sales staff.
- Ensure sales staff are greeting and assisting showroom clients efficiently.
- Maintain a positive and approachable attitude towards clients and colleagues/staff.
- Manage new and existing residential clients, providing outstanding customer service to ensure client satisfaction and on-going business.
- Build and nurture client relationships with residential (end-user) clients.
- Manage, maintain and coordinate sales through from quoting to delivery process, this includes a “check-in” every 4 weeks.
- Strive to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales target both personal goals andsupporting the broader team where possible.
- Assist heavily in the re-shuffle of the showroom quarterly when instructed by the ShowroomManager.
- Ensure the showroom is presentable at all times, this includes fluffing sofa cushions, sweeping or vacuuming the floor (if required), changing water in vases, wiping mirrors or any glass.
- Ensure workplace is kept tidy at all times, this includes shared spaces i.e., kitchen, bathroom and work desks.
- Maintain brand identity through appearance, presentation, and language.

The role will require weekend work so availability across Saturdays and Sundays is a must.
