**About the role**

This is an exciting new opportunity to join a dynamic company secretariat team that supports a purpose-driven Board of Directors. The role will support the Manager, Corporate Governance and Sustainability and work directly with the Company Secretary to deliver exceptional support to the Board. **Duties**
- Manage the preparation, coordination and distribution of Board and Committee agendas and papers
- Support and advance corporate administration
- Provide calendar and general support to Board Directors and support the monitoring of probity and screening checks
- Support the Legal team with a range of administrative and support tasks

**Skills and Requirements**
- Minimum two years’ experience in a legal secretariat or board-related role
- Preferable to have experience using the Diligent platform
- Ability to be proactive, multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines where attention to detail is critical
- Professional and personable approach to supporting multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge or willingness to learn the diverse range of businesses and areas of law applicable to The Benevolent Society
