**Role Overview**:
As a Baker at Brooki Bakehouse, you will be responsible for producing a variety of baked goods according to our recipes and production schedules. You will play a vital role in maintaining our high standards of quality and consistency.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including cookies, brownies, cakes, and other specialty items.
- Accurately measure and mix ingredients according to recipes.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment, including ovens, mixers, and other tools.
- Monitor baking processes to ensure consistent quality and optimal results.
- Follow production schedules and meet deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of ingredients as needed.
- Contribute to the development of new recipes and product ideas.
- Ensure all baked goods meet Brooki Bakehouse's quality control standards.
- Effectively communicate with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proven experience and/or qualification as a Baker in a commercial kitchen or bakery production environment.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and principles.
- Ability to accurately measure and mix ingredients.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining baking equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
- A passion for baking and a creative mindset.
- Food handling certificate is desirable.
