**Qualifications & Experience**
- Bachelor Degree of Law (related).
- Strong writing skills and confidence in writing ability.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with clients.
- Managing compliance including ISO 20771
- Conducting legal research, define and identify legal issues, reading and analysing legislations, case laws and reports.
- Experience in navigating law databases and Australian Government websites.
- Experience in preparing for and assisting in court proceedings, organising documents, evidence, and exhibits, reviewing and ordering transcripts, filing.
- Experience in organising and reviewing case files, scope of discovery and managing evidence, creating and maintaining indexes electronically and hard copy.
- Experience in preparing briefs covering the history of proceedings, facts of the matter, indexing, bookmarking, identifying what is outstanding.
- Drafting and filing court documents, including submissions, appearance and notice to produce in association with our external legal council.
- Identify various courts and laws in Australia, and filing court documents electronically, by post and in person in association with our external legal council.
**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Drafting concept, reports and proposals.
- Analysis of contracts between different parties.
- Assist CEO in the SapphireOne legal process.
- Assist CEO in personal legal matters.
- Case analysis.
- Legal research.
- Managing overdue payments and debt recovery
**Essential**
- Australian citizen, permanent resident or work visa holder.
- Must live in Sydney and be able to work from our office every day from 8.30am-5pm. Our office is located in Bondi Beach with an incredible view overlooking the ocean. A healthy work/life balance is very important to us - lunch break surfs, beach runs and swims are the norm
