**Laboratory Trainee**

Are you highly motivated and looking for something different? We have an opening for a Laboratory Trainee to join our Laboratory team at our Pinkenba Cement Plant. You will be provided with an opportunity to learn all aspects of testing cement and cement related products.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Learn how to prepare cement samples and undertake required testing
- Understand how to log samples and test data
- Undertake equipment calibration and checks
- Perform environmental testing
- Contribute to the efficient and improved operation of the Laboratory by ensuring all equipment is kept in good working order and the workspace is kept clean and tidy

**About You**

To be successful in this role you need:

- Personal commitment to safe work practices
- Ability to work within a team
- Ability to pick up new tasks quickly and with ease
- Flexibility with working hours

**Essential Requirements**
- A genuine interest in a long-term laboratory career in the cement industry is essential.
