Transcend Workforce is hiring a Machine Operator for a leading steel reinforcement company serving construction, infrastructure, and residential projects.

**About The Role**:
We have a long-term position available at a Dandenong location. You will be responsible for the operation of machinery dedicated to the rebar steel. Experience in a heavy manufacturing background is essential.

Afternoon shift - 1:30pm - 10:00pm - $51.10 per hour

**Tasks within this role include**:

- Steel machine operating
- Loading and unloading steel with a gantry crane
- Reporting to the afternoon supervisor
- Following WHS policies
- Working in a fast-paced environment

**About you**:
To be suitable for this role we require the following:

- **_Experience working in a steel or metal environment_**:

- **_Experience operating heavy machinery_**:

- Gantry Crane experience is a bonus
- Clear communicator
- A willingness to learn on the job
- Willing to undergo a comprehensive medical assessment
- Physically ability to work on your feet
