**Dissolved Air Flotation Operator (DAF Operator)** for their large state of the art poultry facility in BERESFIELD NSW.

The position of DAF Operator - Primary Processing is primarily responsible for operating and monitoring of the Dissolved Flotation System and its ancillary equipment which treats the waste water generated by the Plant, including carrying out repairs and maintenance to the plant machinery in conjunction with maintenance staff, and ensuring that all work they perform is carried out in a safe manner following to Baiada standards and systems.

The position also has the responsibility for the monitoring and checking of the first flush system which prevents any contaminated site water from leaving the site.

The holder of this position is also responsible for carrying out their work in accordance with quality, environmental and WHS systems, and working to Baiada standards and requirements as applicable. These may include Minimum Operating Standards, Quality System, HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practices, Workplace Injury Management System, Environmental Management System and the Bsafe Occupational Health and Safety System, as applicable.

**To be considered for this role you must**:

- Experience in preventative maintenance
- Have experience in an FMCG environment but this is not necessary.
- Have a trade background with relevant experience.
- Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment which includes working with raw product.
- Have initiative and motivation to follow through with tasks on your own but also be able to follow clear instruction.
- Reliable with an excellent work ethic and be able to work as part of a team.
- Not have any birds, pigs or chickens at your place of residence
- Be physically fit to undertake repetitive.
