**Kitchen Hand - Girdlers Avalon | STUDENT VISA WELCOME**

**GIRDLERS AVALON** is on the lookout for a reliable and motivated **Kitchen Hand** to join our back-of-house team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and enjoys being part of a positive and professional team culture.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support chefs with basic kitchen prep and set-up
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, benches, and storage areas
- Operate the commercial dishwasher and manage all dishwashing duties
- Assist with unpacking and storing deliveries
- Dispose of waste and manage recycling according to venue procedures
- Follow food safety and hygiene practices at all times
- Work as part of a collaborative team to ensure smooth kitchen flow

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Previous experience as a kitchen hand or in a similar role (preferred but not essential)
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Availability to work weekdays and weekends as needed
