We are currently looking for a Project Controls Specialist to join our growing Infrastructure team in Sydney. This role requires someone to have strong technically knowledge but equally strong client stakeholder management experience as we work on the largest projects across Australia
- Manage a centralised integrated Project Controls team
- Support and manage the Client’s commercial position and contract requirements
- Manage and support the further development of project controls management systems and tools
- Support the delivery of projects and maintenance tasks across Planning, Program Delivery, Customer Delivery and Major Projects
- Responsible for Project Controls standards and methods, ensuring processes and templates are maintained in line with international industry best practice.
- Support project management plans in accordance with contract requirements
- Support and co-ordinate project management processes and procedures
- Facilitating the change management process
- Coordinate the management of the agreed Project schedule
- Coordinate the management of cost budgets in accordance with the approved scope and funding
- Complete weekly and monthly progress report

**Qualifications**:

- ** Must be in Australia with full working rights**:

- Degree or equivalent with professional work experience in Project Controls, Project Management or Programme Management
- Minimum 5+ years experience in Projects Controls
- Experience in Rail, Roads, Utilities or other similar industries desirable.
- Sound knowledge of Cost, Schedule, Risk and Estimating.
- Strong stakeholder management skills; persuading and influencing clients, suppliers, and colleagues
- Confident and comfortable in presenting, delivering creative and persuasive presentations
- High attention to detail and strong knowledge of Project Planning and Management
- Managing others - including delegating, coordinating, appraising, coaching, and develop / mentor employees with less experience
