**The role**

**Responsibilities**
- Providing a commitment to safety, quality and the environment
- Accountable for carrying out mechanical repairs with a particular emphasis on planned and predictive/preventative maintenance
- Identification of plant critical spares
- Administrative tasks within the maintenance planning system
- Focus on continuous improvement ideas

**What you will need to succeed**
- Trade qualified (Mechanical Fitter)
- First Aid certificate
- Vehicle license and High Risk license including Fork lift, EWP
- Competent at basic oxy/acetylene gas, MIG/TIG welding repairs and fabrication
- Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics and welding
- Computer literacy, requiring experience using maintenance planning system, SAP preferred
- A confident, self-motivated, energetic individual
- A team player with a high degree of trade flexibility
- Ability to work, at times, autonomously and without direct supervision
