**About the Role**
As a Trainer in the Aged Care sector, you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs for individuals pursuing a career in aged care. This role requires a strong understanding of aged care practices, regulations, and standards, along with the ability to engage and inspire learners.
We are seeking a qualified and passionate Trainer on a **Casual Contract**, dedicated to helping individuals succeed in the Aged Care industry. You will be based at ITEC Academy, Coniston 2500.
**Job specific duties**:
Deliver high quality industry relevant training and assessment that complies with nationally endorsed training package guidelines, industry standards and legislatio
- n Facilitate the delivery of training courses and assessment activities as schedule
- d Assess, identify and address the varied needs of students and deliver training that aims to meets individual need
- s Support student placement arrangements and maintain contact with host employer
- s Conduct assessments in a timely manner adhering to timelines communicated to student
- s Engage workplace managers and supervisors, participants and other parties in the delivery and implementation of workplace based training and assessmen

**To Be Successful You Will Have**
- Tertiary/post-secondary qualifications in Aged Car
- e Certificate IV in Training and Assessmen
- t Demonstrated experience in a similar rol
- e Outstanding presentation, communication and interpersonal skill
- s Sound digital literacy skill
- s Excellent teamwork and collaboration/co-design skill
- s Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skill
- s NSW Working with Children Chec
- k Current Australian driver’s license and willingness to trave
- l Current First Aid Certificat
