**About the role**

The Cleaning Position provides a service to the facility according to a predetermined local service plan. The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining all services, fittings, fixtures and furniture within their allocated area and waste service for patient and non -patient areas in accordance with the NSW Health Cleaning of the Healthcare Environment Policy.

Position is Casual eight hour shifts commencing at either 1130am or 2pm.

About you

Essential: Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah
Essential: Demonstrated ability to undertake cleaning responsibilities in line with the required NSW Health Environmental Cleaning Policy.
Essential: Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team
Essential: Knowledge of WH&S guidelines and Infection Control Principles.
Essential: Previous experience cleaning within hospital environment or in a similar industry.
Essential: Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills in both written and spoken English and including a commitment to customer service.
Essential: Basic computer skills with a strong work ethic that supports patient care.
Essential: Demonstrated ability to problem solve and have effective time management skills and the ability to work a 7 day rotational roster.
