Bowral is one of our robust homes with 4 clients in SIL. We support people with complex mental health, psychosocial, intellectual and physical disabilities and high support needs.** We have a combination of split shifts (7-9am and 2.30-6pm), short shifts (6.30 - 9.30am) and longer shifts (7am - 3pm, 7am - 2pm and 2.30 - 7pm).**

**Your role**:

- Promote choice and control and show eagerness to participate in our clients’ day to day routines, goals, and interests.
- Follow positive behaviour support and client care support plans as directed by clinical teams and site managers.
- Encourage capacity building to enhance clients’ current skills, such as hygiene, safe relationships, domestic duties, using public transport and accessing the community safely.
- Person centered active support
- Provide personal care and manual handling with dignity and respect.
- To be efficient in computer skills and report writing

**Some of our requirements**:
We are aware there are quite a few compliance checks (listed below) for this role however, what’s important to us is that you have regular access to your own car and a P2 NSW Drivers License or higher and flexible availability across a 24/7 roster which may include, mornings, afternoons, active/sleepover nights.

**Please note**: successful applicants will be required to hold a NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and a Working with Children Check. If you have lived or worked for a continuous period of 12 months or more in another country within the last 10 years, a certified International Police Check from that country/countries will also be required.
