B&R Storage Systems is a leading Melbourne supplier of new and used warehouse solutions.
We specialise in the buying and selling of used material, with a wide range of products including pallet racking, shelving, lockers, parts bins etc.
An opening has become available as a pallet racking inspector/sales.
On the job training will be provided. This opportunity will allow you to work with one of the oldest and experienced companies in the industry.
**The role includes the following;**
Onsite safety audit inspections, ensure compliance with necessary Australian Standards
Visually inspecting pallet racking to ensure Australian Standards compliance
Anticipating potential safety dangers
Record detailed results and draw up floor plans whilst onsite
Learning and having knowledge of the necessary Australian Standards required
Document a precise and complete written report detailing the actions required to ensure A/S compliance
Create clear and precise floor plans upon return to office
Preparing quotes through internal quoting program upon return to office
Ability to up sell
**Requirements needed to fulfil this role;**
Full Australian driver’s license
Excellent communication skills.
Existing sales experience
Excellent computer knowledge, Microsoft office
High level for attention to detail
Great time management skills
Immediate start available.
Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Licence/Certification:
- Full Driver Licence (required)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (required)
Work Location: In person
