**The Opportunity**

The role of the Horticulture Graduate is to be obsessed with sustainability and support the various activities within the Organics Business Unit (BU). This BU has a clear objective of being the market leader in organics resource recovery. The role will be multifaceted to learn from industry leaders across quality, technical, sales and operations. As a young business with considerable growth, this role is for someone that is inquisitive, eager to learn and passionate about organics. It is an exciting and critical role to underpin our next stage of growth.

**Responsibilities of the role include**:

- shadow Organics Manager in building best in class organics resource recovery precinct
- work with Environmental/Operations team to document processes and knowledge share
- develop annual activity planner by month
- assist in establishing composting procedures and process maps to meet AS4454-2012
- assist in establishing a product range for Repurpose It’s organics outputs
- support the Environmental team with processes in order to obtain ISO accreditation
- establish business case for internal laboratory to reduce reliance on sub-contractors
- market engagement and business development where required

**About you**

You will have an inquisitive mind with the ability to demonstrate the appropriate skills and knowledge of scientific concepts, methods and technologies in relation to agricultural processes. Your strong communication, presentation and evaluation skills will see you succeed in this role.

Please note, evidence of your relevant qualification in Horticulture (or similar), as well as a police check and pre-employment medical will be required in the later stages of the recruitment process for this role.
