Junior Bookkeeper

At **Books and BAS Solutions**, we’re passionate about helping small businesses stay on top of their finances — and we’d love to help you grow your skills while you study.

We’re a small, close-knit bookkeeping practice in **Pakenham**, and we’re looking for a **junior bookkeeper** to join our team for around **10 hours per week**. The hours are flexible, making this the perfect role for someone who’s still completing their qualification or looking to build their experience around other commitments.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Assisting with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for small business clients
- Reconciling bank accounts and processing transactions
- Supporting BAS and payroll preparation (training provided)
- Helping maintain accurate financial records in **Xero**:

- Providing general admin support to the senior bookkeeper

**What We’re Looking For**
- Someone currently studying or recently completed a Cert IV or Diploma in Bookkeeping/Accounting
- Basic knowledge of **Xero** (or willingness to learn)
- Good attention to detail and a positive attitude
- Reliable, organised, and eager to develop bookkeeping skills
- Someone who enjoys working in a friendly, supportive local office
