**Continuing part-time (0.6 FTE) position for a Research Scholarships Officer to join the Adelaide Graduate Research School.**

The Adelaide Graduate Research School (AGRS), a key part of the Division of Research and Innovation, oversees all aspects related to research students. The AGRS manages the entire journey of approximately 2,500 research students, from admission through to thesis examination, and handles the selection and administration of research scholarships. Additionally, it offers industry engagement opportunities and provides skills training across a wide range of general topics.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Scholarship Administration**: Undertake postgraduate research scholarship activities, including assessment, selection, offers, awards, and maintenance.
- **Service and Advice**: Provide expert advice on scholarship-related issues, responding to complex enquiries from various stakeholders.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
- **Support Committees**: Prepare agendas, minutes, and other documentation for the Graduate Scholarships Committee and other relevant committees.
- **Compliance and Communication**: Ensure publications and web information related to scholarships comply with University policies and processes.

**To be successful you will need**:

- Demonstrated ability to interpret and advise on legislation, administrative policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Demonstrated resilience, initiative and ability to manage and complete diverse tasks within a pressured environment.
- Proven interpersonal and negotiating skills to work constructively as part of a team and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present information orally and in writing to a variety of audiences.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Experience in higher degree by research administration
- Experience in scholarship administration
