Gembrook OSHClub is looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinator to provide engaging services for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time opportunity, assisting in leading a team of Educators at a medium sized (66 licence capacity) service in Gembrook. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking for a step up in their career, willing to support the service Coordinators, actively assisting with broad service management and contributing to quality programming.

**Hours are as follows**:
Rise then Shine Program (BSC) - Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 09:00 AM
Stay and Play Program (ASC) - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, 02:45 - 6:00 PM & Wednesday ELC Early Start, 12:15 - 06:00 PM
Plus, additional admin hours guaranteed.

The middle of your day is free, and you can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too

About the role

Assist in leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into
Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents.
Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management.
Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration.

About the school

Gembrook OSHClub is a beautiful service that caters for both ELC and primary aged students. This means that the staff delights in working with a range of ages. The service has its own room, kitchen, and office for use. Students and educators have put a lot of work into making the space welcoming and you can feel and see that as soon as you walk in. They are also lucky enough to have access to multiple playgrounds and a basketball court right next door to the room An average session at Gembrook will see anywhere from 20 to 40 children with lots of play to keep you busy

Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it) and a state check for working with children
