**Overview**

Based at Glenside the Rural and Remote Mental Health Service (RRMHS) through the Distance Consultation and Liaison Service (DCLS) provides clinical and professional outreach services to country South Australia (SA) using a variety of strategies such as video conferencing. The Telepsychiatry Coordinator has a key role in supporting this service including the responsibility for managing the video-conferencing booking system and providing local administrative and technical support to the users of video conferencing facilities in conjunction with the video conferencing technical support service.

The Telepsychiatry Coordinator is pivotal role in coordinating and managing appointments between approximately twenty DCLS consultants psychiatrists and referring parties within a timely manner according to the priority given.
