**Support Worker - Male (Mental Health Focus) - Beaudesert QLD**

**Are you a dedicated support worker looking for a meaningful role that pays well and values your contribution?**
We are currently seeking a **Male Support Worker**, aged **35-45**, to support a **challenging mental health participant** in **Beaudesert, QLD**. This is a rewarding and hands-on role best suited to someone experienced, compassionate, and resilient.

**Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (First Nations) communities is highly desirable.**

**About the Role**
- **Support participant with daily showering, personal care, and community access**:

- Provide behaviour support for complex mental health and behavioural needs
- Build a consistent, professional, and respectful relationship with the participant
- Work independently while being part of a supportive team

**Essential Requirements**
- Male applicant aged 35-45 (participant’s request)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module & Induction completed
- Cert III in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services or similar (or willing to obtain)
- National Police Check (issued within the past 6 months)
- Valid Australian driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Right to work in Australia
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate

**Highly Regarded**
- Experience working with clients who have challenging behaviours, mental health comorbidities, or autism
- Cultural understanding or experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients
- Manual handling and hygiene/dressing care experience

- Physically active and comfortable with hands-on support
