Domalda Community Services is seeking a Social Worker for NDIS work.

The position is highly flexible, with casual roles available.

ABN holding contractors are preferred.

The office is located in Fairfield (a few minutes from Fairfield station), but the position will require travelling to different addresses.

Qualifications:

- Membership with Australian Association of Social Workers
- Approved qualification from Australian Association of Social Workers, minimum of Bachelor level
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and procedures impacting the delivery of services to people with a disability
- Current worker screening (or will obtain)
- New worker - NDIS Induction Module (or will obtain)
- Complete continuing education courses to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on the latest practices

**Experience**:

- Experience writing assessments and reports to monitor participant progress
- Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability and other complex diagnoses.
- Ability to train and work with support workers implementing behaviour support strategies
- Demonstrated Continuing Professional Development
- Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload efficiently and effectively
- Experience delivering therapy services to children, young people and adults
- Knowledge of continuous quality improvement principles.

**Salary**: $30.00 - $55.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Fairfield NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
