Right at Home SNSW provides high quality in-home care and assistance to our valued clients in the Riverina and Central West. Our mission to improve the quality of life for those we serve. We provide care to those in aged care & post-operative care. Our services help clients remain safe and independent in their own homes.
**About the role**
We currently have positions available for reliable and passionate Home Care Workers to join our team providing care support in WAGGA, NSW. You will need to be friendly, positive and demonstrate client-focused behaviour, showing empathy and treating others with dignity and respect. You’ll also need to have a natural ability to build relationships that make a difference, be honest, helpful and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.
**Responsibilities will include**:
- Working within a person-centred, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each client
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing and domestic duties
- Assisting clients with daily errands, companionship and support
- Providing support with academic, social or recreational activities
- Preparing food, feeding clients and administering medications
- Observe, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client
- Responding to emergency situations
- Travel to Orange for services (If not local to the area)
**Criteria**:
- Certificate III in Individual Care or equivalent (essential)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn, develop and take on new challenges
- Comprehensive car insurance
- National Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)
- NSW Working with Children Check
- Drivers Licence
- First Aid
- CPR Certificate (Valid within last 12 months)

Pay: $39.55 - $40.84 per hour
