Our business is primarily B2B and we operate mainly for other repair shops around Australia.

The position

We are seeking an experienced Electronic Equipment Repair Technician to join our team based out of our Brisbane Airport warehouse.

We are looking for an individual who has at least three (3) years of relevant work experience, including motherboard level soldering experience.

Your everyday responsibilities include:

- Test and repair various electronic systems or instruments, including run tests or fault diagnostics on equipment to locate and address problem, order parts if needed, and replace or repair parts.
- Reassembling of circuit boards, motor components, or other structures within a system.
- Create prototypes, identifying and avoiding potential issues, and calibrating equipment as needed.
- Follow wiring diagrams, drawings, and schematics to ensure that all systems are installed correctly.
- Upgrade software and run software tests on existing electronic systems.
- Maintain detailed records of validity tests and upgrades performed.
- Perform routine, regularly scheduled preventive maintenance on various types of electronic equipment to avoid issues and potential down time.
- Keep log of what maintenance tasks were completed on what dates and when certain tasks should be performed again in the future.
- Regularly update manuals for electronic equipment and maintain parts inventory reports.

To be successful for this position you will need to:

- Have a minimum of two (2) years of motherboard level soldering experience;
- Be skilled in the repair of all the latest mobile phones and tablet models;
- Maintain extremely high-quality repair standards;
- Soldering experience is a must;
- Schematics experience is a must;
- Computer repair experience would be highly regarded;
- Comfortable working independently.
