What started out as a handmade hobby business has evolved into something much greater, a place to support local makers and designers, and to showcase a wonderfully diverse range of quality products.  

This year we have teamed up with Westfield Southland to create a unique Indoor Market concept Pop Up Shop. This provides our team the opportunity to showcase our amazing brands & vendors, some of who operate exclusively online, to a broad customer reach during the busiest time of year. With Christmas fast approaching we felt there is no better time than the present to share this with those who are as much a part of this as we are.

We hope to share some of our passion and enthusiasm with you.

**About the Role**:
This role will provide above and beyond customer service, work collaboratively in a team and support each other to deliver outstanding results and create an unforgettable holiday shopping experience.

**We need from you**:

- Individuals who take pride in their appearance and general demeanour - you will be working directly with our Owner/Managing director & occasionally alongside some of our amazing vendors.
- Create a memorable and seamless experience with every customer interaction
- Engage with customers and maximise sales opportunities
- Provide advise where required to assist customers during what can be an overwhelming time to shop
- Maintain visual presentation standards of merchandising, minor stock management and general cleanliness of the store
- Process customer transactions on the point-of-sale system; experience with square advantageous
- Ability to communicate/handover to another team member should you be going on break or completing your shift
- Have full availability from October - January (successful applicants will occasionally be expected to work late hours and split shifts)
- Ideally experienced in retail or a similar customer facing role.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Retail Sales Assistant: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (required)

Work Location: In person
