**Job Title**: Roof Tiling Apprentice

**Reports To**: Senior Roof Tiler / Site Supervisor

**Job Summary**:
As a Roof Tiling Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of experienced roof tilers to learn the skills and techniques required to install, repair, and maintain tiled roofing systems. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has good physical fitness, and is eager to build a career in the construction industry.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Learn to lay and secure various types of roof tiles (e.g., terracotta, concrete, slate).
- Cut and shape tiles to fit around roof features such as chimneys and skylights.
- Remove old or damaged tiles and replace them with new ones.
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Clean up work areas and dispose of waste materials appropriately.
- Attend training sessions and complete coursework as part of the apprenticeship program.

**Requirements**:

- Interest in construction and roofing work.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Good physical condition and ability to work at heights.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Completion of Year 10 (or equivalent) preferred.
- White Card (Construction Induction Card) or willingness to obtain one.

**Desirable**:

- Driver’s license and reliable transport.
- Previous experience in construction or manual labor (even informal) is a plus.
