The Festive store is a professional Christmas company who operate in trade, event and corporate Christmas and event decorations in Melbourne. We have been operating since 2006 and have evolved to a major player in the commercial installation Christmas market in Melbourne.

The business runs with a strong cohesion, with the belief that work, and life are both important and that we come to work to enjoy ourselves and to create great value for our clients. Many of our team members have been with the business for 10 years and return each year for the Christmas season. The business is always growing and seeking new team members to assist with Christmas

The Festive store follows the **Amusement, Events and Recreation Award [MA000080] **with all allowances, superannuation, overtime and penalty rates applicable.

Visual Merchandisers VM / Interior designers / Event planners / Christmas lovers

**Hours**: October to Mid-January. Hours are based upon specific installation jobs, generally 8 to 5pm, but which can also commence at 6am, 9am or 10pm dependent upon the client (i.e., shopping centre, council streets, offices). Work does include some Saturdays during November. Hours in October are in our warehouse/factory pre-decorating for the season.

**Location**: Coburg north for our warehouse base - most jobs commence from the warehouse and then move to client locations.

**Main tasks** This role is for the installation and decorating of Christmas decorations around Melbourne. Working in teams of 2 to 10 people in public places.

Individual tasks include
- Decorating Christmas trees, greenery and scenes at client sites and in the warehouse
- Climbing ladders to install Christmas decorations on site
- Driving trucks, vans and cars to client sites.
- Loading and unloading decorations, trees and props from warehouse to truck to client’s location
- Team lifting large Christmas trees
- Completing inductions for the Festive store, individual clients and councils
- Operating in a safe way to ensure the safety of yourself, team members, the client and public member

**Job Types**: Casual, Part-time

Casual / installation sets : 30 - 45 per week

Pay: $30.13 per hour + superannuation

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
- Superannuation paid quarterly

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Coburg North, VIC 3058: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
