**The Position**

**St John of God**
**Ballarat Hospital** is one of Victoria’s premier regional private hospitals providing an extensive range of health care services. The hospital has five operating theatres, including regional Victoria’s first 3D theatre; an endoscopy unit and a cardiac and vascular angiography suite with the latest equipment and interventional services.
- We are seeking experienced
- **Instrument Technicians** to undertake work of a more complex nature rotating through all areas of the Central Sterile Supply Department. As Instrument Technician, you will be required to perform the role of processing, autoclaving and distributing sterile supplies to all internal and external customers without direct supervision but under the direction of an Instrument Technician Grade 3 or 4 or delegated manager.
- Positions are offered on either a permanent full time basis, working 76 hours per fortnight or on a Casual basis.

- Certificate lll in Sterilisation Services and have 12 months’ experience as an Instrument Technician.
- Current understanding of legislation and standards related to OH&S, Compliance issues, Infection Control, and Workcover.
