**LLS Australia-**Our client the Largest Transport company is currently seeking Full Hour Causal Forklift Drivers to join their team at Erskine Park. You will be working with chilled produce.

**About the role**:
Forklift Drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a forklift for the purposes of loading and unloading vehicles and moving freight to and from storage areas. They must ensure that trucks are loaded in accordance with the load sheet, all stabilisation equipment is used as required and fridge motor temperatures are set correctly and checked prior to vehicle departure.

Duties you can expect with this role include:

- Primarily loading dry, fresh, refrigerated, frozen freight onto trailers for distribution within an environment of **2°C or lower**:

- Ensuring goods are stored in correct areas so that they can be easily located when loading trailers
- Monitoring equipment operation visually through gauges and instruments and through computerised monitoring equipment
- Being mindful of equipment to identify wear and maintenance requirements
- performing stock takes as required

**Available Rosters**:

- Monday to Friday - with overtime shifts are available as well

**About the requirements**:

- Be available Monday to Friday
- Be willing to work in an environment of 2°C or lower
- Have a valid forklift licence and experience in this class
- Have warehouse and pick, packing and stocktaking experience
- Have experience Loading and unloading trucks
- Have refrigeration experience (preferred)
- Be reliable and punctual with good communication skills
- Be able to adhere to transport documentation

Past experience in logistic, warehousing or transportation or experience pick packing fresh, frozen or chilled produce is well respected for this role but not a minimum requirement.

**Salary**: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
