**Role Purpose**
The WHS Project Coordinator provides key coordination in the safety management system and self-insurance program of works. The main areas of focus for the role will be the development & management of information systems, as well as the monitoring and oversight of project coordination to support the execution of the Safety & Wellbeing strategy.

**Role Responsibilities**_:_**
- Support the development of the Safety & Wellbeing management system through the monitoring and support of projects throughout entire project life cycle
- Provide support to the management of project financials through accurate and careful recording, tracking, and timely processing and reconciliation
- Manage individual projects and ensure conformance with project timelines and deliverables of scope, budget and schedule are met
- Develop and maintain a project monitoring database to track overall progress and milestone achievement
- Developing and implement relevant IT systems to support current and future management system needs as required
- Design and distribute Safety and Wellbeing reports for use nationally
- Undertake data collection, collation and analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities relating to safety standards, information systems, processes and critical risks
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships to improve data and information capture, sharing and quality.

**Experience for Success**:

- Proven experience in coordination of project activity and event coordination in a complex multi-site environment.
- Experience working in private or public health (desirable)
- Systems, data reporting, information systems
- Experience in a Health & safety team - preferred.
- A relevant tertiary qualification (desirable)
- Certificate or equivalent in Project Management (desirable)
- Certificate of equivalent in Health & Safety (desirable)
