**The Role**

Our Ridge Street site services many customers in a contract manufacturing capacity focused on packaged, natural and processed cheeses. These include the renown Bega cheese blocks
- mild, tasty, and vintage, shredded and cubed cheese, natural slices, parmesan, colby, mozzarella and burger slice cheeses and an exciting new Lactose free range.

We are seeking dependable, safety-focused Casual Forklift Operators to support our production operations. This role is ideal for individuals who value teamwork, take pride in their work, and are committed to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.

**Responsibilities**

- Operate forklifts to move pallets of cheese, materials, and stock within the plant

- Complete daily safety checks and maintain accurate quality documentation

- Identify and report safety concerns or non-conforming loads

- Ensure timely and accurate delivery and scanning of stock

- Follow all safety and quality procedures in line with company standards

**About you**

- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is ideal, but not essential

- A current forklift licence (preferred)

- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn

- Basic computer skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving

- Effective communication and a collaborative mindset
