- **About The Role**
- We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

- Contribute to a large team in various tasks across Histology
- Assist with stock management as required
- Comply with WHS and Quality Standards
- Specimen storage and retrieval
- Assist with equipment maintenance
** About You**
- To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:

- A Diploma of Laboratory Technology, Associate Degree or equivalent
- Previous laboratory experience, in Microtomy and embedding is desirable
- Attention to detail, good communication skills and a patient-centric focus
- The ability to work in high volume lab but also to be able to focus on quality in every task
- Routine staining, special stains and cut up experience is advantageous but not essential
- Availability to participate in a 24-hour roster including the possible weekend
