We are expanding our team and seeking motivated, safety-driven **Solar Roofer Specialists** to help deliver high-quality installations across residential and commercial projects.

**About the Role**

As a **Solar Roofer Specialist at Uni-Industries**, you’ll play a vital role in preparing and securing rooftops for solar PV installations. Working closely with our electricians and installation crews, you’ll ensure systems are mounted safely, watertight, and compliant.

This role suits someone with strong roofing experience who is ready to grow with a company that values workmanship, innovation, and customer care.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare, measure, and set out rooftops for solar PV installations.
- Install solar racking, rail systems, and waterproof roof penetrations.
- Assist electricians in hoisting and securing panels.
- Inspect roofs and identify any hazards or structural issues.
- Ensure flashing, sealing, and waterproofing protect roof integrity.
- Follow WHS/OH&S practices and maintain a safe site.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment appropriately.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers.

**Skills & Experience**
- Roofing experience across tile, tin, tilt, and flat roofs.
- Previous solar PV installation experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of roof safety systems and fall protection.
- Ability to read and follow installation plans and layouts.
- Physically fit and confident working at heights.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills.

**Qualifications**
- **Working at Heights certification** (mandatory).
- **Construction White Card**.
- Roofing trade qualification (highly regarded).
- CEC Solar accreditation or interest in achieving it (advantageous).
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
