From our factory in Yatala, Queensland, we produce a superior quality product range of vehicle and caravan awnings, camping pegs, poles, guide ropes and other handy accessories, all of which have been designed and built for Australian conditions.

**The Role**

Supa Peg is currently seeking the services of a Factory Hand to join the Awning Division of the business. This role will be involved in the assembly of custom and stock awnings for caravans an 4WDs.

Duties would include:

- Assembly of awnings ready for installation/delivery;
- Basic fabrication work;
- Following of production schedules to ensure deadlines are met;
- Ensuring that all products leaving the workshop are made, finished and operating to the highest possible standards;
- Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety procedures.

Cross training opportunities may also be available to assist in other areas of the factory during busy periods.

**About You**
- Ability to use basic machinery and hand tools; drills, saws, press brakes etc;
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to come up with timely, practical solutions;
- Forklift licence will be well regarded;
- Fit and able to lift up to 20kgs;
- The ability to work independently and also assist other team members where necessary;
- A continuous improvement mindset - always on the lookout for ways to improve the process;
- Attention to detail;
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work space;
- Ability to adopt safe work practices;
- Good communication skills;
- Have an excellent work ethic an positive attitude;
- Punctual and hard working with regular attendance;
- Right to live and work in Australia.

**Salary**: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
