- **Rate of pay**: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour
Flexible rotating roster - Weekdays / Weekends- Healing Hands Complete Care are seeking experienced staff who are enthusiastic, compassionate, friendly and ready to join our expanding support team.
- Due to the demand in the Goulburn, Southern Tablelands and surrounding areas, we currently have multiple opportunities for Support Workers.
We are seeking Support Workers to be responsible for
Day-to-Day support, the role will include but not be limited to:
- Day-to-day Client support, Face to Face Client support
- Assist with domestic & house hold duties: Cooking, Washing, Ironing, House cleaning, Shopping, Banking etc
- Assist with self-care, general hygiene, and personal presentation
- Transport Client to and from appointments - attend as required
- Encourage independence in daily living activities, where appropriate
- Assist with the integration and the active involvement in the local community.
- Assist with transport and accompany the person on outings and activities (may include support to use public transport).
- Undergo all staff training and Client personal training
- Have the capacity to meet the physical requirements of the job that may include manual handling tasks
- Have good computer, communication and interpersonal skills
- Have flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating roster which includes days, evenings, awake shifts, sleepovers and weekend shifts

**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- High level of initiative & great problem-solving skills.
- Have demonstrated an ability to view people with disability as valued individuals with human rights.
- Are committed to a person-centered approach.
- Certificate in disability work, aged care or desire to obtain.
- NDIS Worker Clearance (or be willing to obtain)
- Current First Aid Certificate with CPR (or be willing to obtain)
- National Police check obtained within the last 12 months.
- Valid Driver license, and access to reliable, registered & fully Insured vehicle.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an exemption. (proof required)
