**Your new role**
As the Environmental health officer, you will deliver regulatory environmental health services. This includes licencing, inspections, ad complaint investigation according to statutory obligations and policies. Moreover, you will contribute to planning and delivery of change or continuous improvement projects. Furthermore, you will work with Environmental Health Team Leaders and Environmental Health Services Coordinator to agree on performance standards.
**What you'll need to succeed**
Ideally you have a relevant degree/ qualification in the field of Environmental Health. In addition, you have knowledge of Queensland’s public and environmental health legislation. Moreover, you have effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to research, analyse, or investigate issues.
Other more requirements
- “C” class drivers’ licence
- Able to participate in after hours duties / on
- call roster
- Have the required vaccines: Hepatitis A &B, Tetanus, MMR, Pertussis and Chicken pox
