**The Opportunity**

Reporting directly to the General Manager - Tax, this position is responsible for supporting the group tax function with indirect tax compliance and ad hoc tax advisory matters.

**You will**:

- Prepare monthly and quarterly BAS returns including BAS reconciliations
- Assist with other indirect tax compliance matters relating to stamp duty, land tax, payroll tax and FBT
- Assist with indirect tax risk management and governance processes
- Support the Tax Manager and General Manager - Tax on ad hoc tax matters

**What you'll bring**:

- 5+ years of Australian indirect tax advisory and compliance experience obtained in a professional services and/or corporate environment
- Relevant degree qualification (e.g. Bachelor of Commerce) and membership of a professional institute (e.g. CA or CPA, Tax Institute, Law Society of NSW (or equivalent))
- Experience with finance ERP systems
- Tax compliance experience in the retirement living sector / real estate tax experience (desired)
