Brunswick, Australia The Dirt Company Full time

The Dirt Company

Do you have a very unique ability to understand how other people think and behave, and do you enjoy using that ability to champion happiness, confidence and community spirit?

Because we're looking for a new content creator to join our team and think the ideal person will be someone who just loves making people smile.

We're a group of beach people, coffee people, dog (and cat) people who are in complete alignment that mint slices are the best Arnott's office biscuit.

We absolutely love creating products that provide planet-first and genuinely well designed solutions in a typically very boring household category - laundry. And we think we're very good at it. Close to 100,000 customers have jumped on board 'Cleaning with Dirt', and with their help, we've managed to prevent more than 75 tonnes of plastic from ever being created.

All our products are assembled and shipped from our warehouse in Brunswick.

Our team is looking for a new part time Content Creator to join us, and our amazing customers to help us continue to build out our impact from the inside (the laundry), out.

We think you'd be a great fit if you love:

- Original ideas
- Social media and having your finger on the pulse
- A good challenge (pertaining to both taking care of your clothes, and meeting your KPIs)
- News and current affairs (and memes and trends)
- The environment and making sure it’s around for future generations to enjoy
- Words and images and their ability to move people

It’ll help even more if:

- You’ve had some experience in a similar role (or experience that might help you with the role)
- You can use canva, inshot, or photoshop with your eyes closed (just whichever platform is your cup of tea)
- You’re a confident and concise communicator
- You’re a self starter who can work well both autonomously but also knows how to work collaboratively in a small team

Officially, you'll be doing:
The Creative Execution:

- Create and edit short form video on and for the TikTok, Instagram platforms
- Periodically collect and curate inspirational content and moodboards, and share the best of it
- Pivot quickly in response to trends, news and current events
- Keeping all our touch points on brand; blue, simple, informative, and a little bit of good clean fun.

Content Planning and Reporting:

- Measure, report and analyze the performance of content across channels.
- Translating these learnings into actionable insights and creative outputs.
- Continuously improve by capturing and analysing the appropriate data metrics, insights and best practices
- Create an exciting, fun and impactful content calendar across all channels that is seasonal, and shareable

The working requirements are:
This role is part time, with a requirement of three days per week. The role will be primarily executed from our head office in Brunswick.

And the benefits include:
Grassroots opportunity in a growing online retail business

Work directly with the founder Frankie and other senior management

Competitive salary, based on experience

Fun team environment

Fruit, snacks, and a coffee machine in the office (if you’re not an ex-barista there are plenty already working here)

Free product allowance
