Key Objectives:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the bar, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed financial targets, ensuring profitability and cost control.
- Create a welcoming and memorable atmosphere for guests by providing outstanding customer service and fostering positive relationships.
- Oversee the development and execution of a diverse beverage menu, including fantastic cocktail creations and exciting drink specials.
- Train and mentor bar staff, ensuring high-quality service standards, product knowledge, and efficient workflow.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance the bar's offerings and maintain a competitive edge.
- Maintain compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to the sale and service of alcohol.
Requirements and Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Bar Manager or similar role in a high-volume establishment.
- Proven ability to meet financial targets, manage budgets, and drive revenue growth.
- Expertise in mixology and a passion for creating innovative and delicious cocktails.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional service.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, ensuring smooth operations during peak periods.
- In-depth knowledge of beverage trends, industry standards, and local regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with customers, staff, and suppliers.
- Ability to analyse sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to optimize the bar's performance.
- Proficient in using bar management software and point-of-sale systems.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
