Classroom Teacher: English and/or Math Teacher

**The role of a classroom teacher will include**:
- Planning for and implementing effective teaching and learning.
- Creating a supportive and safe learning environment for students.
- Maintaining a sound knowledge of curriculum content and how to teach it.
- Assigning homework, grading tests, and documenting student progress.
- Assessing student learning and reliably reporting on student learning to families.
- Liaising with families and other stakeholders regarding student learning.
- Engaging professionally with colleagues and parents.
**The successful applicant should**:
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Have effective planning and organisational skills.
- Have a strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum.
- Be a team player.
- Have sound skills in classroom teaching with an ability to teach students with a variety of abilities and aptitudes.
- Have a current Working with Children Check.
- Possess a love of learning and have the ability to inspire this in children.
