Canterbury League Club is a leading hospitality group operating in Sydney’s southwest. Operating across three venues with multiple restaurants and bars. The Belmore venue has just undergone a multi-million dollar expansion and renovation which included the launch of a high-end cocktail lounge, Bartega, and new 500 seat showroom.

Bartega, Atrium Bar, Sports Bar and 3 restaurant / café outlets on site provide high end destinations for our patrons together with multiple event and function spaces. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Bar Manager on a full-time basis to oversee the smooth operation of the Bartega lounge, the Canterbury bars and function areas.

**About the role**

Working across a Wednesday to Sunday roster, whilst we prefer an experienced Bar Manager, this could be a fantastic opportunity for a professional Bartender/Mixologist to extend their knowledge and skills within the hospitality industry and to take the next step in their career.

On any given day, the role will involve:

- Creating and costing innovative menu recommendations which suit Canterbury’s clientele
- Liaising with suppliers, processing stock orders and undertaking regular stocktake
- Training and mentoring bar attendants to achieve a strong performing team
- Maintaining the general cleanliness and presentation of all service areas
- Completing frontline bar duties during key trade periods to ensure consistency of service and products.
- Assisting with operational support to other Canterbury bars and function/event spaces.

**Do you have what it takes to raise the bar? What will make you stand out...**
- Cocktail/Bar experience with excellent mixology and alcohol knowledge
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment
- Positive and engaging personality
- Ability to solve problems and multitask
- Flexibility to work Wednesday to Sunday, and public holidays
- Current NSW RSA and RCG Competency Card
- Full working rights in Australia
