Framestore Melbourne is looking for junior artists interested in participating an a Launchpad Trainee CFX program This program will take place remotely for four weeks during the month of October and be followed up by local training with the Melbourne studio.

The CFX artist is responsible for setting up skin, muscle, cloth and hair simulations for our hero and secondary characters and creatures. Other responsibilities include, maintaining and supporting those rigs/setups through production as well as running shots in production.

If this sounds like the perfect opportunity for you then you will need to have the following:

- A thorough working knowledge of Maya
- Previous studies/education in animation/VFX
- An enthusiasm to learn/develop and a desire to seek out and respond positively to feedback
- Great communication skills with peers and more senior colleagues
