Dispensary Technician

Hall Street Discount Pharmacy is looking for an experienced Dispensary Technician for an immediate start. This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Bondi Beach, NSW.

About the Role

The Dispensary Technician will be responsible for the following duties:

- Dispensing prescriptions and providing proper counselling according to prescriptions under the guidance of Pharmacist;
- Taking and reviewing prescription information, measuring medications and labelling the prescription bottle/ pack under the supervision of a Pharmacist;
- Maintaining records of, ordering, stocking and storing pharmaceuticals and medical supplies;
- Record details of, instructions, and storage conditions of medications and deliver them to patients; and
- Reviewing and recording patient information associated with their prescription in accordance with the Pharmaceutical Council’s requirements.

Skills & Experience - Who we’re looking for:
For this position it is expected that you would possess the following qualifications/work experience:

- Minimum Diploma level in a relevant field or at least 3 years of experience working in a pharmacy dispensary
- Experience dispensing prescriptions using the Fred software system
- Experience using Fred Office Software
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work unassisted and in a team
- Thorough knowledge of OTC and prescription medications.

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $59,000.00 per year
